Salute to the General novel Chapter 1007

Bam!

Sean and his family were dumbfounded by Cobra's words. They could not believe their ears, but Sean had no audacity to defy Adam's instruction either.

Ultimately, he brought everyone from his family over with him, as they made their way over, to meet Adam.

The moment Adam caught sight of Sean, he greeted him with a bright smile, "Hello, Mr. Smith! Please take a seat!"

There were a few corpses lying around in the restaurant.

Thomas, Channing's King of the Underground, had his clothes drenched in blood. The man could barely catch his breath, as he was on the brink of death.

Sean and his family member's faces paled, the moment they had come across the horrifying scene. They were trembling in fear.

"Mr. Black, may I know why you have gotten your subordinates to get us here?" Sean asked anxiously.

Adam assured Sean with a smile on his face. "Oh? What do you mean, Mr. Smith? I have merely gotten Cobra and others to invite you over because we have to work on the details of the wedding ceremony between Penny and my father. Mr. Smith, you're Penny's grandfather and the patriarch of the Smith Family. Why don't you tell me this? Do I have your consent to carry out the wedding ceremony between Penny and my father? Please make sure you're mindful of your reply, okay?"

Suddenly, those from the Black Clan, including Cobra, cast a stern gaze at Sean in an intimidating manner.

Sean could not make up his mind either. Ultimately, he decided to play along with the wicked man for the time being. "We have always respected the junior's decisions when it comes to affairs regarding their relationship. If Penny is willing to get married to your father, I won't stop her either."

Obviously, it was a double entendre. Adam could barely hold back his anger due to the cunning man's indirect response.

The cunning old man had passed the baton to his granddaughter. He would allow Penny to get married to Adam's father, should Penny give him her consent.

Similarly, Adam paid no heed to Sean's words. He scoffed in return, "Sure! I have already sent my subordinates to get Penny and her family to join us. I'll get her to give her consent to the wedding once she shows up. Soon, the Smith Family will be the in-laws of the Black Clan! All of you should be proud of yourselves!"

Sean and his family members smiled embarrassedly because they dared not to defy the wicked man's words.

Although they had always enjoyed being related to those who were influential, they were slightly against the idea as of current, as those from the Black Clan had their eyes on Penny's Cross Group. Obviously, their goal was to embezzle Penny's company.

Meanwhile, Adam turned around and looked at Thomas who was drenched in blood from afar. He teased the man, "Thomas, I'll give you one last chance. I'll set you free as long as you beg for mercy."
