Salute to the General novel Chapter 1012

As soon as Nathan finished his sentence, he turned around and signaled to Sean, who was nearby.

Initially, Sean was dumbfounded because he had yet to figure out what Nathan was up to. However, he returned to his senses soon and knew that Nathan had wanted him to raise the bar.

Sean had to bite the bullet and adhere to Nathan's instructions. He cleared his throat and offered, "Fifteen million from me!"

Gleefully, Nathan replied, "You have such a great taste, sir! He's quite a great candidate for miscellaneous tasks, such as serving drinks and doing the chores, right? After all, he's the heir of the Black Clan! What a great honor to be served by him!"

Adam's jaw dropped open, the moment he had heard Nathan's words. He was indeed the heir of the Black Clan. It would be absurd for him to become a slave, serving the Smith Family.

He turned around and glared at Don, signaling for him to raise the bar, to bring him home.

The butler had dared not hesitate. Don counter-offered, "Sixteen million from the Black Clan!"

"That's it? You're only offering another million? It seems like the Black Clan is such a stingy bunch," Nathan pronounced rhetorically.

Thomas, who was gravely injured, resisted the pain and offered, "A hundred million for his life! I want to send him to hell and get him to keep my subordinates company in hell!"

What? Thomas offered a hundred million for Adam's life?

In all honesty, Adam was irritated because Nathan had said that his life was worthless. Although Thomas offered a hundred million for his life, he could not possibly be proud of it because his life would be at stake.

A hundred million was a huge sum. Don was taken aback by Thomas' offer. Although he was from the Black Clan, he had no authority over such a huge sum of money.

Nathan was exhausted. He asked nonchalantly, "Don, what about the Black Clan? Is it over? If that's the case, I'll have to hand Adam over to Thomas. If he has to be buried alive in the near future, you're not allowed to blame me for being merciless, okay? After all, I have given you the chance to save him."

Eventually, Don's expression morphed drastically. He stopped hesitating and yelled, "A hundred and fifty million! The Black Clan offers a hundred and fifty million to save our young master!"

Everyone engaged themselves in a heated discussion the moment they heard the offer Don had made.

It seemed like the Black Clan is indeed a wealthy clan. They are willing to go to great lengths to save their young master.
