Salute to the General novel Chapter 1073

After Sarah ended the call, she sat on the bench by the road and waited blankly.

In fact, she was clueless over whether Nathan could save her.

Nathan was now just an unemployed idler. Furthermore, he was living off Penny Smith at her house.

Nathan had even offended the Saber clan, as she did. The purpose of the clan's visit to Channing this time was to get rid of him.

He is in trouble himself—how could he possibly save me?

Time passed by quickly and after half an hour, tens of black sedans roared past.

Tyler Webbs hopped off the car alongside dozens of his subordinates, all in black suits.

When he saw the dirty Sarah Lee sitting on the roadside bench, he let out a sigh of relief.

Mr. Lane had given a strict order. If he failed to get rid of the female reporter by dawn, he would not live to see the morning sun.

He instructed his subordinates to surround Sarah Lee and mocked, "Ms. Lee, we spent half a day looking for you. We have deleted the video you saved in the cloud, but you should still have a backup copy. If you're willing to hand it over to us nicely, we can consider letting you off."

Sarah Lee raised her head and eyed Tyler Webbs indifferently. "Although I'm a woman, I'm not stupid. The moment I hand over the backup copy is when I die."

The latter chuckled. "You are very smart! But I have more than a hundred ways to make you suffer and regret that you were born. I guarantee I will make it quick if you take the initiative and hand over the copy now."

Sarah Lee turned pale and stared at him in shock, stammering, "Y-You are a devil!"

Tyler Webbs laughed. "Haha. Thanks for

your compliment!"

He then snapped his finger and instructed, "Bring her back!"

Sarah Lee's body turned cold as though she had fallen into an ice cave.

Desperation was written all over her face as she thought she was done with.

But at this moment, the roar of car engines was heard and two dazzling headlights could be seen from not far away. Everyone immediately directed their attention toward those cars.
