Pirk burst into laughter as if he had heard a hilarious joke. "What are you talking about? Who do you think you are to have us apologize?"
He clutched his stomach as he laughed until he was almost in tears.
Max and his followers looked at Nathan with a cold sneer.
Despite being on the brink of death, this man still wanted the Lance family and the Artoria family to apologize to him. How absurd!
Max scoffed, "Nathan, it's my first time seeing someone who wants to die so badly like you. We prepared some gifts for your family when we came to Channing. The gifts are right outside the house. Your family will definitely adore them."
Pirk shot a smug grin at Nathan's family. "Why don't you take a look out the window? See what the Lance family and the Artoria family have prepared for you."
Penny and the rest could not help but walk toward the French Window and look at the courtyard.
When they saw the 'present', they got a huge shock.
Five coffins—four big coffins and one small coffin—were placed right in the middle of the courtyard. The scene was downright terrifying.
When Benson saw them, his face turned pale.
Leah's body trembled as she screeched, "Coffins! Five coffins!"
With a frosty look, Penny whirled around and glared at Max and Pirk. She said furiously, "You're so despicable!"
Pirk only scoffed coldly. "The Lance family and the Artoria family have always been direct. All of you should prepare to die now."
Max looked at Nathan with a cold smirk.
"Do you have any last words?"
Nathan's expression turned grim as he replied icily, "You've scared my family! I would have spared both of you if you just apologized to me. After all, both of you are already so old. However, if you don't kneel and admit your mistakes now, I won't let you go."
When Max, Pirk and their followers heard him, they were astounded.
Even at this critical juncture, Nathan still dared to demand Max and Pirk's apologies. He even wanted them to kneel and apologize!
