Salute to the General novel Chapter 1208

Nathan said exasperatedly, "The North is freezing cold. Of course, we need to choose the sturdiest men as our soldiers. Naturally, we don't have any women enlisted in our army. Even so, can't you find one from somewhere else?"

Colin was in a tight spot. "But if the woman is not one of us and we don't know her background well, we can't possibly hire her, can we?”

Nathan frowned. "Are there no female bodyguards who are of a clean background?"

Colin replied, "Those who are aren't capable enough. But the female bodyguards who are truly capable have many complicated connections with other important families or warriors. I wouldn't dare to hire them. However, I do have someone in mind."

Nathan asked, "Who?"

Colin replied, "Frida Hampton!"

Nathan had never heard of this name before. Startled, he queried, "Who is she?"

Colin grinned. "She used to be one of the First Lady's bodyguards. Previously, she got hurt while protecting the First Lady, so she was forced to take a break from the bodyguard lineup. Although she has now recovered, the First Lady has already hired someone new, so she couldn't get her old job back anymore."

Nathan couldn't help asking, "Is she good enough to protect my wife?"

Colin answered, "Frida is actually very strong. Although she was injured once and is no longer at her peak, she can take out most enemies without any issues.

Besides, her job is only to protect Madam up close. We're still around to guard Madam as well, so there won't be any problems."

Nathan nodded. "Okay, then we'll take her! I don't care how you do it, but you can't reveal my true identity. Just pretend to be ordinary people and hire her as my wife's personal bodyguard."

Colin replied, "Very well!"

Nathan waved a hand. "Off you go, then!"

Colin hurriedly said, "General, there's one more thing."

Startled, Nathan asked, "What is it?"

Colin answered, "Remember that Wolfson Pierce you beat up before? His brother, Elijah Pierce is coming to avenge Wolfson."
