Frida was a little embarrassed as she was the one who had caused the trouble.
Fortunately, Nathan's remark took the heat off her.
She looked at Nathan in admiration because she knew of his true identity.
After all, there were only a handful of high-ranking officers in the nation. Plus, those as young as Nathan were rare.
When Nathan asked the Secret Service and SWAT to leave, Frida noticed that even the two law enforcement units had to take orders from him.
Since Nathan was also skilled in martial arts, Frida had reason to believe that he was none other than the General of the North.
Hence, Frida looked at Nathan excitedly as if she were worshipping a god.
She had once been a soldier and regarded the God of War as her idol even though she had never been able to meet him.
Therefore, she felt honored to be able to meet the General in person and even become the bodyguard of his wife.
In fact, she was so excited that she almost couldn't help but scream out loud.
When Penny talked to the customers and staff about what had happened earlier, everyone didn't think it was strange. They merely regarded it as news and eventually stopped discussing it, returning to work as usual.
Later that day, Penny returned to Cross Group and began her work in the CEO office.
After working there for quite some time, Frida felt that her working hours were relatively flexible.
When Nathan was about to take a lift to go downstairs, Frida immediately came up to him and greeted him, "Mr. Cross!"
She successfully rushed into the lift right before it closed.
Hence, the lift went down with only two persons in it. Nathan felt slightly uncomfortable when he looked at Frida, who was looking excited and nervous at the same time. It was as if he was a military instructor while she was a newly registered soldier.
