Salute to the General novel Chapter 1248

Colin, who was from the North, was both a veteran soldier and a veteran marksman.

Although the scene was chaotic, he noticed there were quite a few pirates who stood where they were and made a motion to draw their guns. Hence, Colin was certain that some of the pirates were equipped with guns.

He took a few steps back immediately while evading the brutal pirates' attack along the way. He reached for his gun and fired several consecutive shots at the pirates who were reaching for their guns.

The pirates, who were still in the process of drawing their guns, were all shot between the eyes before they could even grasp the situation.

In the meantime, Thunderstorm, Waves, and the Elite Eight were carrying out their duties, defending Nathan diligently.

As the fight goes on, it became clear that the pirates weren't a match for the Elite Eight in terms of combat skills. From the moment the battle began, there had been casualties amongst the pirates.

Nevertheless, the pirates were a ruthless bunch. They behaved as though they weren't afraid of death at all.

The moment their comrades collapsed to the ground, the pirates behind would step on their comrades' blood and make their way across their comrades' corpses. They showed no signs of stopping because they were determined to fight until their last breaths.

The battle grew even more intense as time went by.

Even though Odysseus had the upper hand in terms of quantity, the pirates he had with him were no match for Nathan's subordinates in terms of combat skills. Eventually, they shrieked and groaned in pain as they collapsed one after another.

Odysseus knew he had to think of something soon. Otherwise, he would be defeated if his underlings were to be taken out at such a pace.

Just as he was racking his brain for a plan, Odysseus' eyes gleamed the moment he detected Nathan because Nathan had been taking cover behind his subordinates ever since the battle began.

Therefore, Odysseus decided to take Nathan out first because he was certain he could render Nathan's subordinates immobile as long as he could get his hands on their leader.

Odysseus was sure that if he could kill or take Nathan as hostage, Nathan's subordinates would definitely cease fighting immediately.

At that moment he glimpsed Colin reloading his gun out of the corner of his eye.

Without any hesitation, Odysseus reached for his retro-looking revolver, took aim and pulled the trigger as he approached Nathan. "Goto hell, Nathan!”

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!

As Odysseus marched towards Nathan, he fired six consecutive shots at once, spending all the bullets within the revolver.

He was pretty confident of his marksmanship and was sure that he had his gun aimed at Nathan's head. However, he was utterly dumbfounded when he saw Nathan managed to evade every single shot fired.
