Gideon smiled as he looked at the doll-like Queenie in Nathan's arms before beckoning a boy behind him over. "Come here, Huxley.”

Everyone turned and landed their gazes on the teenage boy.

The boy was Huxley Snyder, and he was one of Gideon's grandsons.

As Huxley's parents were close relatives, Huxley was born with an intellectual disability. Right now, he was drooling and playing with a toy duck.

Gideon called out his name repeatedly several times, but it was as if Huxley heard nothing as he continued to play with his toy as he drooled.

Feeling awkward, Gideon cleared his throat before saying to Nathan and Penny, "This is my grandson, Huxley. He's always been an honest boy. I know the two of you have a daughter, so I was thinking of engaging my grandson with your daughter. After the engagement, our family will become one.
