When their leader was insulted, any subordinate would feel indignant.
The Formidable Four, Eighteen Sages, and all of Lucius' men heard Nathan's demand for Lucius to kneel and apologize.
They started growling in rage and prepared to face off with Nathan.
However, Lucius waved them off. "None of you are his match. I'll teach him a lesson myself."
He then turned his gaze to Nathan and smirked, "I'll be taking your place as the God of War.”
The general replied calmly, "I just wish to break your limbs to avenge my teacher."
Lucius was livid and threw a wineglass at Nathan. It sped toward Nathan's face like a bullet.
Nathan snorted, using the resonance of the glass to shatter it.
Meanwhile, Lucius had started to take
action.
With a boom, the tiles beneath his feet crumbled into dust as he shot toward Nathan.
Whoosh!
Lucius sent a lightning quick punch at Nathan's head.
The latter took a small step back and avoided his fist perfectly.
Lucius threw another punch at him!
He punched Nathan so quickly that all a bystander could see was a flurry of afterimages surrounding Nathan.
It was a technique passed down by the Jordan family — Crimson Lotus Barrage!
The entire crowd was shocked!
Lucius' fists were so fast that its afterimages resembled a lotus in full bloom.
However, Nathan evaded every hit mysteriously, as though the punches had passed through his body.
Just as Lucius' last punch missed, Nathan counterattacked.
Crack!
Nathan grabbed his right arm and snapped it.
"Argh!" Lucius screamed in pain.
