Salute to the General novel Chapter 1391

"Nathan, you're finally here!" Penny became emotional the moment she saw her husband.

Frida also secretly heaved a sigh of relief as soon as she saw Nathan.

Similarly, upon Nathan's arrival, Marcus and his co-workers all felt as though a heavy weight had been lifted off their shoulders.

Although they weren't aware of Nathan's actual identity, they knew he was one of Cross Group's employees. They had faith in Nathan because they had witnessed how he used to teach the thugs a lesson back in the day.

Nathan nodded and assured Penny everything would be fine. He signaled her he would take control of the situation.

In the meantime, Victor and the bunch of bandits had their eyes on Nathan as well.

They had gotten their hands on Cross Group's employees because they had another hidden agenda—their ultimate target was Nathan.

The moment Victor saw Nathan, he signaled his underlings discreetly and beckoned them to get themselves ready for battle.

Victor then yelled deliberately, "Hey, who the hell are you?"

In return, Nathan replied nonchalantly, "I'm her husband. It seems like you're the one who's intimidating my wife, huh? I'll give you a chance to get down on your knees and apologize for what you have done. Apart from that, you have to pay a hundred billion to compensate my wife for her psychological loss. If you're willing to adhere to my demands, I'll let you die peacefully.”

What!

Victor and the bunch of bandits were rendered speechless by Nathan's pompous words.

As usual, Penny, Frida, and Marcus were taken aback by Nathan's remarks as well.

They exchanged glances as they tried to figure out what Nathan was up to.

Before long, everyone returned to their senses because they realized Nathan was merely returning the favor. After all, Victor had previously demanded a ten-billion compensation from Penny.

However, Nathan went all out and asked for a hundred billion of compensation in return.

Judging by Nathan's warning, even if Victor were to transfer him the requested sum, Nathan would still kill him at the end of the day. He would merely get to die peacefully from adhering to Nathan's instructions.

Unbelievable! He's such an arrogant fool!

Victor glared at Nathan incredulously because he couldn't believe his ears. "How dare you threaten me, you insolent fool! You're the first in the North who has the guts to make such a harsh remark against me!"

Similarly, Victor's underlings stared at Nathan in an intimidating manner. They were all looking murderous by now.
