His long spear cut through the air at an unbelievable speed.
The military helicopter's alarm blared noisily, but the crew was caught off guard.
Before they could take necessary precautions, the spear stabbed across the windshield into the pilot's body. The pilot died on the spot.
The helicopter's alarm kept blaring as it was under attack.
Subsequently, the helicopter plummeted to the ground as dense clouds of smoke spiraled from its body.
Crash!
A deafening boom rang out as the helicopter burst into flames after crashing.
Everyone in the town stared at the raging flames, tension visibly etched on their faces.
Outside the defensive wall, the werewolves whooped excitedly and chanted the name of the werewolf warrior who destroyed the helicopter repeatedly, “Aroke, Aroke, Aroke...”
Even Raytor gave Aroke an approving look.
Aroke's attack was a resounding success. Not only did he earn the respect of his fellow werewolves, but he also gained the approval of the Alpha Wolf. Aroke couldn't help but swell with pride.
He howled in Nathan's direction, making a few provoking and insulting gestures.
Nathan's expression turned as dark as thunder.
Beside him, Colin, Sevan, and the rest were simmering with anger.
From afar, Aroke saw Nathan's face darken, and his gaze turned icy. His superior vision allowed him to make out the details of the expression even from a distance.
Fury tore through him as he whirled around to grab a new spear from his subordinate, ready to launch another attack.
This time, his target wasn't the helicopter anymore; it was the leader of the humans, Nathan.
Raytor took in Aroke's action but didn't bother stopping him.
He wanted to find out if Nathan was capable enough of avoiding Aroke's spear.
It would be great if Aroke could kill Nathan with the spear. Even if he missed his target, his strike would compel Nathan to duck hastily, putting him in his place and shaking the confidence of the humans.
Aroke lifted the spear up high. With a low growl, he hurled the spear ahead with all his might.
Whoosh!
