Salute to the General novel Chapter 1399

Soon, Randy and his group were arrested.

The remaining people in the hotel lobby were ushered out as well.

The only ones left in the hotel lobby were Nathan, Colin, Penny, Kylie, Frida, and Patrick and his men.

Patrick said respectfully to Nathan, "General, as a matter of fact, I was getting ready to come and see you just before you called."

Nathan was surprised, "Oh? What's the matter?"

Patrick reported to him, "Lucifer's mastermind, Sky, broke into our base. He said he wants to surrender himself to you and is willing to serve as an informant."

Nathan and Colin looked at each other with delight.

Colin smiled and said, "General, we thought we might have to wait two days before Sky would come and surrender himself. We did not expect him to show up so soon.”

Nathan's lips curled into a smile and said, "Looks like Lucifer is more ruthless than we thought; otherwise, why would Sky be so quick to surrender?"

The women excused themselves and returned to their rooms. They were joined by Benson Smith, Leah, and Queenie.

Nathan arranged for Elite Eight to stay at the hotel to protect his family before heading toward Bossania's military base with Colin, Patrick, and the troops.

The group was unaware that, at that point in time and in the dark of the night, a huge group of twenty thousand men had stealthily surrounded Bossania's military base.

These men were the Leeroy family's servants, doormen, and thugs.

Lucifer knew Sky had killed Winston and was looking for a safe place to hide, and expected Sky to take his family to Bossania City's military district. Sky would then betray him by surrendering himself to Nathan Cross.

A livid Lucifer immediately gathered the Merciless Duo, the Seven Champions, the Twelve Apostles, three hundred White Warriors, and more than twenty thousand men. He then led them to Bossania's base with murderous intent.

He wanted to kill Sky before the latter could even surrender himself to Nathan.

Breaking into a military base carried a heavy sentence, but the consequences would be far worse if the crime had to do with the president's son. Furthermore, Boris Tucker and others were associated with him. If anything were to happen to him, many big shots would be implicated, too.

Therefore, he must have Sky killed at all costs to prevent the latter from turning into an informant.

There were only two thousand troops at Bossania's base.
