Monkey King and Liam Dylan were shocked out of their wits.
The onlookers were stupefied as well.
Never had they ever heard of anyone ordering the mayor of the city to bring their own tea leaves to a tea party so haughtily!
Everyone exchanged looks fearfully.
Recovering from the shock, Liam laughed mockingly at Nathan. "Ha! You speak as if you are anyone of importance. Who do you really think you are?"
"How dare you request a meeting with our boss, Director Gully, and the mayor in 15 minutes? And what's all the nonsense about the tea leaves? You're so full of crap!"
Staring at Nathan, the onlookers had the same thoughts. This young man is really naive! Does he really think that this problem can be solved by calling the boss of this area, the minister, and the mayor?
Perhaps the city officials won't even bother themselves with his outrageous request. He's going to be in so much trouble when Gary Lambert arrives!
A few senior citizens couldn't help but advise Nathan, "Don't be naive, young man! You can't possibly order the mayor and the minister around like this! Just get yourself and your family out of here before the T-Rex arrives!”
Nathan smiled reassuringly at the kind elders, "Thank you for your concern, but you don't have to worry about me. I'm capable of handling this. We must punish these thugs for being so unreasonable with the tourists here.”
Seeing that Nathan refused to heed any of their advice, the onlookers shook their heads and sighed heavily. He's too young and inexperienced. He's doomed!
Liam taunted, "Don't you dare run away if you have the guts, b*****d! I'm calling my boss right now."
After Liam fished his phone out and messaged Gary Lambert, he sneered at
Nathan.
However, Nathan Cross still remained as calm as ever.
Ten minutes passed as the crowd waited in anticipation.
