Nathan's convoy of sedans was targeted by someone as soon as they left Tiger Park.
On the rooftop of a skyscraper situated opposite to the Tiger Park, a man with an exceptional muscular build together with some of his underlings were watching the convoy of sedans closely with binoculars.
The coats they were wearing were flapping wildly in the blustery wind when they were standing ramrod straight on the rooftop.
The man was one point nine meters tall. Half of his dark-skinned face was covered by a mask of a demon. His name was Dark Lord, and he was the captain of Armageddon, the most elite mercenary army in the world.
Watching Nathan's convoy of sedans with coldness in his eyes, the Dark Lord spoke in a monotonous and frosty voice to a microphone fixed on the collar of his coat, “Grim Reaper, Nathan's cars are moving in the direction of your side now. I'll count on you to avenge the death of the vice-captain, and I want to see you coming back with Nathan's head. Don't let me down, okay?”
As soon as the Dark Lord issued his instruction, a firm and sonorous voice came from the earphones in response. “Captain, I will never let you down! Please wait for my good news!”
It was already midnight.
As Tiger Park was situated in a rather secluded area of the city, the road was deserted when Nathan and his men were on their way back.
All of a sudden, some hazard lights were flickering ahead of them.
They had no choice but to slow down.
In a collected voice, Nathan asked, “What's going on?”
Colin replied, “General, there are some hazard lights as well as some vehicles ahead of us. It seems like a bunch of people are repairing something underground.”
The sedans reduced their speed as they tried to get past the obstacle slowly.
Yet, just as they approached the “repair team”, they quickly noticed that something was not right. Although the members of the repair team were wearing uniforms with fluorescent signage, the bizarre thing was that they seemed to be outsiders with quite a strong build.
