Salute to the General novel Chapter 1668

Nathan gave them the last ultimatum. “Drop your weapons and surrender, or we will have to shoot you dead on the spot! You have three seconds to make your choice. Three, two, one!”

All of those who were held at the gunpoint of the submachine guns were frightened. If a clash really broke out, their pistols would be of no match to the submachine guns.

As Nathan's countdown ended, all of them dropped their guns and admitted defeat, “General, please don't fire! We surrender!”

Hearing that, Nathan ordered Will, “Will, you and a thousand soldiers will stay here to guard these people.” “Yes, Sir!” Will replied.

Nathan then instructed Hailey, “Bring your men and a thousand soldiers to search for the criminal and also for the evidence in the Tucker family residence.” He raised his voice at the mention of the word 'evidence.'

Hailey was slightly bewildered, but she immediately understood what Nathan meant.

Before this, the President had ordered Nathan and her to investigate Boris.

For a long time, they tried to look into him, but they only managed to get rid of a number of his subordinates. In the end, they could not find any of his incriminating evidence.

She knew that Nathan was hinting at her that this was a golden opportunity to bring Boris down.

On the surface, they were entering the Tucker family residence to capture Caspian, but actually, they could seize this opportunity to turn the entire place upside down to find Boris' incriminating evidence.

Hailey was excited when the thought hit her.

“Yes, Sir!” she answered solemnly.

Then, leading her subordinates from the Secret Service and a thousand other soldiers, they barged into the Tucker family residence.

Initially, Boris thought that Godric and the others were enough forces to send Nathan away.

Apart from that, since President Windsor was sick and could not attend Cabinet meetings, he now held most of the power in the Cabinet. Without the President's support, Nathan would not dare to have a falling-out with him.

However, his expression morphed drastically when he heard a commotion in the living room. There were sounds of his family yelling and shouting to stop people from rummaging through the place.

He hurried out of his room to see Hailey instructing her subordinates to search high and low in his house.

In a fury, he roared, “Hailey Reagan! How dare you! Who has given you the right to conduct a search in my house?”
