Salute to the General novel Chapter 1680

After Colin and the Elite Eight took down the thugs, they turned the target of their lingering anger towards Kai.

Just then, the door to the room was flung open.

Nathan, scowling, came out of the room with Penny and Kylie. He commented dryly, “What's with the fuss? I'm trying to have a peaceful dinner with my wife!”

Colin and the Elite Eight greeted him respectfully, “Mr. Cross!”

Nathan looked at the injured thugs on the ground, and then set his eyes on Kai, before he remarked coldly, “You again! Haven't you learned your lesson when I broke your leg?”

Shocked and angry, Kai spat at him, “Bastard, you smashed my car and broke my foot. Do you think I'll just leave it?

“Haven't you heard of me? Haven't you heard of Kai Woods? When have I ever tolerated this sort of unjust in Brimmopolis?”

Nathan sneered. “You seem to be quite popular around this area. Strangely, I don't even know that.”

Right then, Billy, the owner of the Eight Treasures, arrived at the scene with his manager and servers in tow.

When he saw the wounded scattered across the floor, he was flabbergasted.

He quickly explained the situation to Nathan, “Sir, this is the son of Kremlin Woods, captain of the Brimmopolis Transportation Brigade. His uncle also happens to be the recently appointed

police chief of the city, Justin Young.”

Bill informed Nathan of Kai's identity to imply that Kai was not someone Nathan should mess with, hinting at Nathan to admit his mistake and beg for mercy.

Nathan exclaimed in surprise, “Wait, you're Justin's nephew, and Kremlin's son?”

A few days ago, when Nathan led the army to surround Boris' residence, Justin also led the police force to the face-off. In the end, Justin was wounded on the spot, and all of his men were disarmed and arrested.

So, Nathan was quite surprised to hear that Kai was Justin's nephew.

It was precisely this astonishment which Kai noted that subsequently led to his misunderstanding.

When Kai saw that Nathan's expression had shifted, he assumed that Nathan was shocked and afraid.
