Salute to the General novel Chapter 1719

Twenty years!

Kiel's expression changed drastically. He was sweating as he begged Clifford. “Dad!”

Clifford was still expressionless.

To him, there was no difference between two years or twenty years of imprisonment for his son.

Upon becoming President, he would easily be able to release his son from prison.

At the moment, however, he just needed to protect Kiel by calming Nathan down; the other problems did not matter.

Camilla and Will were quite satisfied with a twenty-year prison term and showed an

unnoticeable smirk.

Kiel had committed attempted murder, after all. What more, he was the son of Mr. Davier.

Twenty years of imprisonment should be enough for him to pay his price.

Camilla and Will turned to Nathan. They wanted to know his opinion on this.

Nathan placed the teacup on the table as he responded, “This person denied having anything to do with Eugene. He only admits that he assaulted my wife and my sister-in-law. In accordance with the law, twenty years of imprisonment would be fair enough for assaulting a woman and causing her miscarriage.“

Clifford put down his teacup and stood up.

“Since the General has given his approval, we shall let Lawrence handle this. Well, the matter is settled now. Goodbye everyone,” he said forcefully.

With that, he prepared to leave with his subordinates.

However, Nathan spoke up again. “Mr. Davier, I'm not finished yet.”

Clifford was stunned.

Everyone present stared at Nathan.

Clifford noticed the determination in Nathan's gaze and sensed a bad omen.
