Salute to the General novel Chapter 1784

The next day, in the Southern District of Channing.

A private jet gradually landed at the airport of Channing.

A burly and impassive-looking man with a purple birthmark sprawled across his face descended from the plane, wearing a pair of black leather shoes.

Thirty men in black trailed behind him.

Each one of the men carried sharp gazes, firm stances, and exuded a fastidious aura. It was apparent that they were all skilled fighters and the best of the best.

Over dozens of Mercedes-Benz were parked at the entrance of the airport.

At the sight of Arnold making his way out of the airport, a bald middle-aged man, Finlay Black, hurriedly approached him, bringing along over a dozen of subordinates. The man greeted Arnold respectfully and said, “Mr. Davier, welcome. I have been anticipating your presence. Kindly get in the car.”

Arnold trailed behind Finlay as they got inside the first Mercedes-Benz. His men followed suit, subsequently getting into their rides.

The convoy of Mercedes-Benz then started to pull away.

In the car, Finlay was putting his best foot forward to appease Arnold and said, “Mr. Davier, I had arranged for a number of skilled fighters to abduct both Thomas and Ivan before you had even arrived here. Of course, everything was done discreetly. Would you prefer to have your meal, or to meet them both first?”

After he was done, he noticed that Arnold was regarding him with a cold, hard look.

Finlay could not help but feel like he was akin to a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

His heart thumped wildly as he stuttered, “Mr.-Mr. Davier, have I done anything wrong?”

“Next time, you're good as dead if you do anything without consulting me first,” Arnold said curtly.

All colors drained from his face as he hurriedly replied, “Understood, sir.”

Then, Arnold shifted his gaze and set it out front in an impassive manner. “Where are Thomas Dunn and Ivan Liam right now?” “They're at the Leviathan Ice Warehouse.” “We II head over there right now. I want to see them both first,” Arnold ordered.

“Yes, sir!”
