Salute to the General novel Chapter 1819

Ceaser was going to finish counting to three very soon, but Corey, whose face was dripping with blood, showed no signs of backing down any time soon.

A baleful smile appeared on Ceasers face.

He had never held much regard for Corey. It was Ceaser s birthday today, and he had decided to hold his birthday party at Sunshine Club.

To his chagrin, Corey had chosen to organize a gathering with his friends here on the same night. He had even invited Nathan!

In Ceaser's opinion, Corey was simply trying to go up against him, just like how the older Mr. Lucas was going up against his father.

This was why Ceaser decided to stir up trouble for Corey first and steal Barbara away from him.

To his surprise, however, Corey, who never had the guts to fight him one on one, had brought a bunch of his cronies along with him to take Barbara back from Ceaser.

He had even threatened to shoot Ceaser in the head!

Despite the threat of imminent death, Corey still refused to bow his head and beg for mercy from him.

An ominous smile appeared on Ceaser's face. Since you want to die so badly, I'll send you off to hell.

Just as he was going to count to three and press down on the trigger of the gun, a drawl sounded in the doorway of the room. “These are unsettling times. Why are you children stirring up trouble in this part of town instead of staying at home quietly?

“Don't you know that your reckless actions tonight will implicate your parents as well?”

Hearing this, Leaser's brows knitted into a frown.

Everyone looked at the doorway, wondering who the drawl belonged to.

As it turned out, it belonged to Nathan, who was standing in the doorway with Penny, Colin, and the Elite Eight in tow. He walked into the room slowly.

The moment he spotted Nathan, a rancorous look appeared on Leaser's face.

“It's you!” he said furiously.

“Nathan, tonight's matter has nothing to do with you. I'll settle my grudge with you another day, but I must advise you to keep your nose out of this.”

Nathan smiled right back at him. “I see you haven't learned your lesson despite the warning I gave you back in Channing. You're still as arrogant and foolish as ever.

“My friendship with Young Mr. Lucas's father obliges me to intervene before you shoot him in the head.
