Lucas and Zach looked towards Nathan, as that was also their concern.
Nathan replied smilingly, “Clifford has the most supporters as of now, followed by Zion, then Garrett. However, not before long, the people behind Zion will start to realize that there's an extremely slim chance that Zion will win against Clifford. Due to their egos, those people wouldn't give up easily and will definitely change camps to your side. With the reinforcement of the guys who were originally behind Zion, it wouldn't be difficult for Garrett to defeat Clifford to become the next president.”
Garrett was delighted to hear that but started to worry the next instant. “But what if Zion's supporters refuse to support me but end up requesting for my supporters, such as the three of you, to change camps to support Zion
instead?”
Nathan replied plainly, “Zion's main supporter is Mr. Windsor. When the time comes, I'll pay him a visit and ask him to support Garrett.”
Upon hearing that, Lucas couldn't help but ask, “Since that's the case, why don't you make the suggestion to President Windsor now to get him to support Garrett?”
Nathan laughed and said, “Mr. Windsor's current intention is to help Zion become the next president. He will only be open to changing his mind if he realizes that it's not going to work. If we ask him to give up on Zion and support Garrett now, there's no chance he'll agree regardless if he views it from the big picture or personal ties.”
Garrett and the other two men nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, at the same time, in Union Hospital's VIP ward, Leaser, who was in a hospital gown, was lashing out at his family while lying on the bed.
"I'm not staying here. Get me discharged!” He yelled furiously, before continuing, “I'm going to find that bast*rd Nathan Cross to seek revenge! I'm gonna kill him and hack him into a million pieces..."
Ceaser's family members from the Goldstein family were in a frenzy trying to calm him down but to no avail.
Just then, Gillian, dressed elegantly in a silk dress, appeared at the door of the ward with a few of her subordinates.
