Garrett turned to look at Nathan and asked, “Chief Military Governor, Mr. Davier and the other ministers want to test your capability. You have to pass the assessment to earn their approval. Do you agree to accept the challenge?”

The latter got the message and stepped forward. “Let me do it!”

Jothan graduated from the National Defense University, so he had some insights into national security. Furthermore, he was frequently involved in military construction projects, so he was knowledgeable in this field.

He looked at Nathan and sneered, “Since ancient times, theory always comes before practice. Theories are the basis of practice while practice validates theories. Theory without practice is just as pointless as practice without theory. So, let me test your basic knowledge on national defense!”

Nathan replied with a smile, “Sure, Mr. Marlin. Let's start right away.”

With that, Jothan bombarded him with a string of difficult questions without any hesitation. Those were the serious problems that Eurasia was facing at that time. Without years of real experience as a military commander, one would not be able to give good answers.
