Morgoth was shocked.
Sherman frowned and looked up.
The crowd craned their necks, searching for the source of the voice.
A handsome couple emerged, followed by another smaller crowd.
The speaker who had threatened Morgoth was a handsome man who stood tall and upright.
“Mr. Goldstein, that's the former General of the North,” Aron whispered to Sherman. “The God of War himself, Nathan Cross!”
“The beauty next to him is his wife, Penny
Smith.”
Sherman stared at Penny, astonishment all over his face. She was even more beautiful in person compared to the photograph.
His gaze fell once again onto Nathan. He was surprised to see that the General of the North was younger than he expected.
The surprise only lingered momentarily; it morphed into hatred a second later.
Sherman caught Morgoth's eye and nodded.
Morgoth complied. He raised his right foot high, with the intention of humiliating Nathan by smashing Thomas's skull in front of him.
Nathan's gaze steeled coldly.
He jumped forward with such power and agility that for a moment he disappeared into a blur.
The next instant, he reappeared in front of Morgoth, who was caught by surprise.
He is fast!
Morgoth's eyes widened in fear. He switched targets. Instead of Thomas's head, he swung his foot at Nathan.
Nathan grunted and met Morgoth's kick with his own. However, he was much faster.
Clap!
Nathan caught Morgoth squarely in the knee.
