Although the parents wouldn't be too concerned whether they were able to watch Hermione perform, it would certainly be a bummer for the children because they loved Hermione's songs a lot, and they have been eagerly waiting for their idol to perform live.

The children's disappointment was palpable when they suddenly learned that their idol wasn't going to turn up.

Even Queenie couldn't help but tug at the corner of Nathan's shirt as she said timidly, “Papa, is Hermione not coming to sing for us? I really want to meet her in person and hear her sing live.”

Learning that Hermione couldn't come, all the children started crying and clamored for her to come and sing.

Penny looked at Nathan helplessly as she stated, “Hubby, do you have a way to invite Hermione here?”

While Nathan remained silent, suddenly his ear vibrated with a cold laugh, “Haha, Hermione is a famous actress, a lot of high officials and nobles have invited her to dinner and to perform with loads of money. Even if Nathan begged her, she wouldn't come.”

Nathan's face darkened after hearing that.

Nathan and the rest of the group glanced in the direction from which the laughter came.

While being accompanied by his men, a richlooking gentleman in a white suit strode over

with his head held high.

That rich-looking gentleman was none other than Branson.

Many people at the scene knew Branson was the heir of the Brimmotopia Group, so they gathered around and said curtly, “Greetings, Mr. Fuller!”

Branson, however, did not take those people who were buttering him up seriously as he walked straight up to Nathan and Penny.

As he smiled at Penny, he said, “Ms. Smith, if you think your husband will be able to invite Hermione here successfully, then I guess you'll be disappointed. I, on the other hand, will be able to help you bring her here.”

After that, he instructed his subordinate, “Ray, go and personally invite Queen of Vocals, Hermione, to come here and sing for the

children.”

Ray answered in a deep voice, “Yes, Mr. Fuller.”

Ray and his two other men hurriedly sought Hermione after discovering the hotel where she was staying.
