The man's smile deepened after making sure everything looked right. “Haha. This badge looks right. This way, boss.”
The wooden badge Colin had produced wasn't just any admission ticket. It was a VIP admission ticket.
Hence, Nathan, Penny, Colin and the rest of the Elite Eight members entered the Temple of
Wisdom.
The place was much bigger than they thought.
Moreover, it was extraordinarily lively in the temple tonight.
Besides the locals, there were plenty of foreigners of various nationalities who came from all over the world.
These people occupied the tables and chairs that had been set up for the event.
It was so packed that Nathan was starting to question whether he had entered the Temple of Wisdom or a restaurant.
At the moment, a slender young lady dressed in a strange costume and a female ghost mask appeared out of nowhere and addressed Nathan politely. “Hello, Mr. Cross. We've prepared a private room for you since you're our VIP guest. This way please.”
Nathan nodded. “Okay.”
Soon, the young lady led Nathan and the gang up the wooden stairs to a private room on the second floor.
One could see everything happening in the first floor through a window in the room.
There was also a giant LCD TV mounted on the wall so that the occupants in the room could see the auction items as well as hear what the auctioneer was saying.
The lady in the female ghost mask brewed some tea for Nathan and the gang, smiled and said, “Mr. Cross, you can see the auction items either from the window or from the TV. Just press the bell on the table if you see anything you like and would like to bid for it. We will serve you immediately.”
Nathan glanced at the bell on the antique table and nodded. “Alright.”
The young lady bowed. “Alright, I will leave you alone then. Get the security outside to call me if you need anything.”
