Salute to the General novel Chapter 2116

Pails in hand, Kylie hurried over in delight and helped Nathan remove the carps from their hooks.

At the same time, Penny stared at Nathan's mesmerizing smile. Next, she looked at her daughter prancing around joyfully and at Kylie who was gawking in admiration of Nathan. Suddenly, she had an epiphany and steeled her resolve. If Nathan dies, I won't want to live anymore. A life without Nathan is simply meaningless.

Despite the approaching storm, Penny felt that life was too short to stay worried and it was better to live the present to the fullest.

Holding that thought, she discreetly wiped off her tears before joining them with a smile.

Queenie remarked in a joyful tone, “Mama, Papa has caught a big fish. He is really amazing!”

Penny stroke her daughter's head and replied with a smile, “Papa is a god among men and has no equal on Earth. Of course, he is awesome.”

Nathan smiled at her words.

Kylie nodded in agreement. After all, Nathan was just like a god to her.

Penny's initial intention was to compliment Nathan for how exceptional he was.

But just as the words left her mouth, she remembered the saying, “Legends die young” and couldn't help but be overwhelmed by a sense of dread.

Will my invincible husband join the ranks of historical heroes that die young? Just like

Alexander the Great?

Meanwhile, Nathan was oblivious to Penny's worries as he passed the fishing rod to Colin with a smile. He declared, “Alright now, it's late so let's head home. Tonight, I will personally grj|| fish for all of you.”
