The audience were enraged, and lots of them complained about how inappropriate it was for the old men to be playing an elegy.
Some of the more impulsive people in the crowd even picked up a bottle of mineral water and hurled it at the old man. “Elegy, my foot! Play it to your dead mom, old man!” he cursed.
The bottle of mineral water was about to hit the bullseye, but Annihilator snorted and played a note on his violin, and a high-pitched sound resounded across the hall.
The bottle of mineral water exploded in the air, and the water within rained down on the floor.
At the same time, Destructo played a note on his guitar as well, and the water droplets in the air flew toward the area where the bottle was thrown. They flew like bullets, and all the people there were about to be attacked if nobody came to stop it.
Nathan frowned. He slammed his armrest, and all the popcorn in the bucket flew up into the air. Nathan waved away, and all the popcorn flew toward the water droplets at an even faster speed.
Every popcorn crashed against a single water droplet, and the sounds of explosion that followed scared the audience, draining them of all their color.
A short while later, the battle came to a stop, but the audience were still scared, though they realized that none of them were hurt.
The guy who tossed the water bottle was already drenched with sweat, though he heaved a sigh of relief after coming out of the ordeal alive.
He looked at Nathan gratefully. The man wasn't stupid, and he knew if it weren't for Nathan, he and everyone else in the area would have been attacked by the droplets.
Catherine and her entourage were watching as well, and they were struck dumb. They stared at Nathan dumbly, for his strength far exceeded their expectations.
Some of the instructors even wanted to challenge Nathan the day before, though they didn't manage to. However, they perished that thought after seeing what Nathan just did. They were relieved they didn't fight Nathan, or they would have been hospitalized as well.
Everyone looked at Easton, and their looks said, 'You're lucky you go tout alive from that fight yesterday.'
