Salute to the General novel Chapter 2243

After injuring themselves, Rattlesnake and his lackeys scrambled away like mice.

Nathan then shifted his attention to Deckard and Amelia. “Do you still think that I should be the one kneeling?”

Fear-stricken, Amelia was at a complete loss for words.

Deckard was just as terrified as Amelia, but he still pretended to be unaffected. “I'll admit that I have underestimated your influence, but that doesn't mean you're almighty. These gangsters might not be able to touch you, but I know who can. You're not above the law, and I'll prove it with a phone call.”

After listening to Deckard, Nathan and the others could tell that the man had mistaken Nathan for some sort of underground crime boss.

They could not help but chuckle when Deckard kept repeating that he would bring Nathan to justice.

“So you want a phone call too, huh? Sure. Why not? I'll give you ten minutes as well so that you can ask your friends for help. For your sake, I hope they're not as disappointing as Snakey and his men,” ridiculed Nathan.

Deckard did not expect Nathan to agree to him making the phone call, so he snorted condescendingly at the man before taking out his phone to call his father, Jameson.

The police commissioner was immediately filled with rage when he heard that somebody at the nightclub wanted his son to kneel.

Deckard even told his father that his safety was being threatened.

Hence, Jameson quickly summoned dozens of police officers to follow him to the nightclub.

“I want to know which one of you threatened my son?” roared Jameson the moment he stormed into the VIP room.

Deckard's face lit up with glee when his father showed up with a group of officers armed with police batons.

“Dad! I'm so glad that you're finally here!”

Like a child bullied by his classmates, Deckard hurriedly ran to his father with Amelia in hand.

Jameson could tell that there had been a fight in the room when he noticed the signs of a scuffle. When he narrowed his eyes at the floor, he even spotted blood.
