In the next two days, Nathan was occupied with work since there were documents that required the Chief Military Governor's attention, but still, he made time for his family.

The third day began on a regular note as well. Benson went to pick Queenie up in the afternoon after she finished school while Nathan went to Cross Corporation to fetch Penny and Kylie.

Not long after he arrived at the company, Penny, Kylie, and Ava walked over to the car to meet him.

The three fetching ladies instantly became the center of attention when they walked out of the company.

Although they each had different styles, their beauty was unparalleled.

All eyes trailed them until they went into Nathan's red sedan.

Nathan was happy to see his wife. “Do you want to get anything along the way, or should we go straight home?” he asked once she got in.

“We're not having dinner at home today,” Penny replied. “Didn't Mom tell you?” “Oh!” Nathan was surprised. “She didn't. Where are we going for dinner?”

Penny smiled at him. “Well, you see, Mom has been really eager to match Kylie up with someone, so she introduced her to a gentleman. I heard he's quite a catch.”

She paused and looked at her cousin.

“We’ll be meeting this guy tonight at dinner. I can't wait to see how things turn out,” she said cheekily.

Kylie, who was opposed to this arrangement from the very beginning, shot her a glare the moment she heard Penny teasing her.

“Come on. Don't be so serious. We're just there to see if he's good enough for you.”

Penny then told Nathan the address and he drove to Royal Garden, the newly-opened gourmet restaurant in Channing.

The name of the restaurant rang a bell to Nathan. He recalled that Thomas invested in this restaurant.

After Nathan told him to wash himself clean from illegal businesses, the soldier took his advice.

Although he was still the King of the Underworld, he took Nathan's words to heart. He was no longer involved in illicit activities. Instead, he put his heart and soul into carving a niche out for himself in the food and beverage industry by investing in several fine dining restaurants.

Nathan was expecting to see Thomas at the Royal Garden, but he did not. Instead, they were greeted by an immaculately-dressed and neatly-groomed man. He was dressed in a white collared shirt and slacks. When he saw Nathan and the others, he came forward quickly, giving them a warm welcome. “Hi, Ms. Tonkins,” he addressed Kylie in particular. “I'm Johannes Little. I believe you've already heard about me.”

“Hi, nice to meet you.” Kylie was unfazed.

Johannes was clearly excited to see her in person. He was glad Kylie turned out to be prettier in person. He stole a look at Penny and Ava and could not help but gasp.

They are all so attractive’. Well, if things don't work out between Kylie and me, I can still try it out with the other two. It would be great if I got that girl in a pencil skirt. She's a thick and juicy one.
