Salute to the General novel Chapter 228

Right then, Colin Dunne, who was in casual wear, came up to Nathan.

He spoke in a low voice. "Sir, I've made a call to the Channing TV station. They claimed that they were hacked and as a result, those images were aired. They've regained control and have returned to their usual programming."

Nathan's voice was dripping with iciness. "You have ten minutes to find the culprit behind this. Also, make a statement and clear my wife's name!"

"Yes, sir!" answered Colin loudly.

Penny's family and all the guests stared at Nathan with their mouths agape.

Ten minutes to find the culprit and make a statement. Is that even possible?

Meanwhile, in a luxurious private room at the AFC Club.

Jerry Zabinski, Giovanni Russo, Sylvie Larson, and the others were gleefully discussing the photos that had aired on the Channing local station earlier.

Jerry grinned at Sylvie slyly. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. It was brilliant of you to think of airing doctored photos of Penny on TV."

Giovanni was also laughing blithely. "I'm guessing Nathan's wife's reputation is completely ruined now. There's just no way for her to come out of this unscratched."

Sylvie peeled a grape and fed it to Giovanni. "I may have been the one who came up with the idea, but it was Mr. Zabinski who did the heavy lifting. If he didn't find a hacker to hack into the TV station, we wouldn't have been able to get the photos on air," purred Sylvie.

She looked at the TV which had resumed its usual programming and lamented, "It's a pity it was so short and only lasted less than a minute though."

"But I guess that's enough. I wish I could've seen Penny's face when she was waiting for my apology but saw her own lewd photos instead!"

Just as Sylvie was reveling in her revenge, the news anchor on TV suddenly reported, "Our station was hacked earlier, which resulted in the broadcast of certain images. These photos were doctored with the malicious intent to sabotage Ms.
