Tetsuo's cigar fell onto the ground with a dull thud.
Despite that, he didn't feel a thing.
As of this moment, he was the most shocked person in the room.
His eyes were so wide that it seemed as if they were about to pop out of his skull.
He looked at Kitsune's body with only one thought in mind: Impossible. This is impossible.
Even the referee was struck dumb.
He turned to look at Tetsuo a few times as if asking, What do we do now?
However, he was still immersed in the mind-blowing shock at the moment.
The referee didn't know what to do.
The match was already over, so he couldn't just keep standing around, right?
All he could do was announce through gritted teeth, “The winner of this match is Ava Quinn, Mr. Cross' subordinate.”
Following the judge's announcement, the crowd was pulled back to reality as they were forced to accept the truth.
Plenty of people began cursing out loud.
Some of them were cursing Kitsune for being so weak that he couldn't even beat a good opponent.
Others were blaming him for letting his guard down, causing him to lose to a Eurasian woman and for them to lose their money.
Some people were cussing at Ava, saying that she only won because Kitsune had let his guard down and she didn't deserve the win.
Ava, however, was not concerned by any of that as she stepped off the stage calmly. She walked back to Nathan and stood still with her hands crossed politely in front of her, back to being a loyal bodyguard.
