Soon, news of Derrick's incident reached the Novah Pharmaceutical Company's headquarters.
Quentin had just finished meeting with the military bigshots from Ariarica. After he sent them away respectfully, his expression turned grim.
He returned to the living room. His two trusted aides, the Grim Reaper and the Double Swordsman, were already waiting for him.
Quentin sat down in annoyance. He lifted a glass of water from the table and took a sip. Suppressing his fury, he asked sternly, “What bad news did you receive from Derrick?”
The burly Grim Reaper exchanged a look with the Double Swordsman, who had two swords strapped to his back.
When the Double Swordsman saw that the Grim Reaper was unwilling to speak, he said, “Mr. Perez, updates from the Eastern side said that Derrick's army has been killed by Nathan.”
What?
A look of fury appeared on Quentin's
face.
Steeling himself, the Double Swordsman continued, “Also, Nathan has a message for you.”
Quentin asked grimly, “What did he say?”
The Double Swordsman replied, “Nathan told you to prepare to die!”
Boom!
Quentin slammed his fist on the table, smashing it to smithereens.
The Grim Reaper and the Double Swordsman lowered their heads quickly, not daring to breathe loudly. They had never seen their boss so angry before.
Quentin demanded coldly, “He's coming to Ariarica to kill me? Hah! I'm afraid that he won't dare to come.”
Knowing that Quentin was at the peak of his fury, the Grim Reaper and the Double Swordsman did not dare to express their opinions.
Quentin instructed, “Both of you, go to Eurasia personally. I don't care what methods you resort to, but you must bring Nathan and Penny to me.”
