At the airport on Demon's Island, two planes were waiting to take off.
Marshall hopped on the first plane with eight elite agents after bidding farewell to Max, and the plane lifted off right after.
Marshall's mission was to enter
Eurasia and go over to the South to kill Nathan. He was entrusted with the task of executing revenge on Nathan.
Max retracted his gaze when the plane was finally out of sight and turned to look at the man beside him.
Cayden looked sparklingly immaculate after he groomed and tidied up himself. Yet, despite how gentlemanly he appeared to be, Max knew in his heart that he should not be deceived by Layden's looks.
After all, Cayden wielded terrifyingly destructive power. He was heralded as a legendary fighter in Eurasia—the best in the past century.
“Mr. Quillen, Marshall has already left. 1 think it's about time you go to Eurasia too. Marshall will meet up with you in Brimmopolis after he has completed his mission in the South. I have put him under your charge, and he will be at your service in case you need anything. I will try my best to help after he informs me of your needs,” he said, pausing before looking at the man again.
“Goodbye,” was the only response he received.
With that said, Cayden boarded the second plane waiting for him.
It took off after he got on, heading eastward.
Meanwhile, in Channing, Eurasia, Nathan was having a video conference with everyone from the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor.
He was ready to wrap up the meeting after they had laid out all the work that needed to be done, but the director of the governor's office came in with news for him.
“Chief Military Governor,” Sage reported, “there's an urgent matter that requires your attention.”
“What is it?” Nathan asked without looking perturbed.
