Raphael, dressed in white, shut his eyes while fishing at a pond at the back of the mountain when he suddenly heard Ash's rapid footsteps rushing toward him.
“There's trouble at the gates, Mr. Norris! Big trouble!”
With his eyes only half-open, Raphael instructed calmly, “Take a deep breath to calm down, Ash. Nobody wants their butler running around like a headless chicken. So what is it?”
Drenched in sweat, the butler replied, “Nathan is here, Mr. Norris. Not only did he injure our gatekeepers, but he also destroyed our gate.”
What? Both surprised and angered at the same time, Raphael widened his eyes.
As one of the five Reclusive Families in Eurasia, the Norrises would shut themselves off from the outside world whenever they were not needed.
That was why their gate had to remain closed at all times.
Even the Norrises themselves only used the side door to enter or leave the residence.
Naturally, it shocked Raphael when he was told that Nathan had wrecked the gate.
“So he thinks he can invade our property and get away with it? I don't think so!"
With that, Raphael furiously whipped the surface of the pond with his fishing rod and created titanic waves.
Boom!
When the waves finally settled, hundreds of dead fish were seen floating up to the top.
Ash could feel a shiver running down his spine when he saw just how enraged Raphael was.
He remembered seeing the Patriarch that angry thirty years ago.
Back then, Raphael got so furious that he marched down Mount Rhea to tight Lorenz, an overlord of the West.
