Salute to the General novel Chapter 251

Bang!

The gates were forcefully rammed open and the three thousand men flooded inside. Finley strode among the throng of men, his pace unhurried as they surged around him.

After all, there was no way Cross could escape death today.

Shrieking blood-chilling war cries, the men charged further into the compound. Suddenly, the first row of men leading the charge stopped without warning as the war cries they had been shouting abruptly cut off.

The second row of men jostled their companions, wondering what was going on. "Hey, what's going on? Why did you guys stop? Move it!”

They squeezed past the first row but stopped dead at the sight before them. Sucking in a deep breath, they froze on the spot in fear.

Finley was bewildered at his men's actions. Just what had happened for them to stand there, still as a statue and quiet as a mouse?

"Move it, move it! What's going on there? Let me see!”

Forcing a path through his men, he walked all the way to the front. When he caught sight of what had his men freezing like deer in headlights, he gasped. His jaw dropped as he stared in shock.

Row upon row of soldiers in full combat gear was standing before them. Around them, he could see tanks and armored vehicles. Further back, he could even see the distinctive shape of military helicopters and fighter jets.

They had broken into a secret military base.

Franklin's voice boomed out commandingly, "In your positions, men!"

Instantly, the soldiers broke rank and had Finley and his men surrounded within moments.

Click!

The loud clicking of countless guns being loaded rang out as those gun barrels aimed unerringly at Finley's men.

Not only that, the tanks and armored vehicles also roared to life, the cannons swinging to aim at them as well.

"Surrender yourselves at once! Anyone who resists or flees shall be shot."
