Salute to the General novel Chapter 2531

As Nathan wondered about the identity of the young lady who spied on him earlier, Colin walked over.

Noticing the mystification in Nathan's eyes, he couldn't help asking softly, “What's wrong, sir?”

Instead of admitting that someone was spying on him just now, Nathan merely shook his head and replied placidly, “Everything’s fine.”

At that very moment, a beautiful Remdikian lady in a princess gown was frantically making her escape with two female attendants.

All of a sudden, a young man in Remdikian military uniform appeared before them and blocked their path.

The man in the military uniform was none other than the favorite subordinate of Gammon the Great and the rising star in the military, Dante.

Dante stopped the lady and deferentially saluted her before remarking, “I've been searching for you for a long time, Your Royal Highness, Princess Sofie. Why are you here?”

It turned out that the beautiful lady was Gammon's youngest daughter, Sofie. She was also the princess of Remdik.

In fact, she was most favored by Gammon among the many princesses.

She heard that Eurasia's Chief Military Governor would be visiting that day and that he was exceedingly mysterious, so much so that few had even beheld his true countenance, for he usually wore a mask whenever he attended any functions.

Out of curiosity, she brought along two attendants and went to his temporary quarters to steal a peek at him. Unexpectedly, she saw him without his mask.

At that time, he was sitting on a bench, smoking. As the moonlight hit him, he was enshrouded in a mixture of light and shadows.

Although she could only see half of his face, she was already shocked to the core.

She initially thought that Eurasia's Chief Military Governor would be an elderly man in his twilight years, but he turned out to be a young man who only appeared to be in his thirties.

That aside, he was even handsome

beyond words.

His thoughtful expression when he was smoking, in particular, had her heart skipping a beat.

She only managed to catch a glimpse of him before she almost got discovered. Thus, she hurriedly bolted with her attendants.

As she was then stopped by Dante and asked about the reason she was there, the crimson shade on her face deepened.

Forcing herself to calm down, she tried her best to put on a nonchalant expression. “I've got nothing to do, so I'm taking a stroll,” she answered crisply.

Then, she asked, “Why, is something the matter that you're looking for me, General Dante?”

Upon hearing that, Dante swiftly replied, “President Gammon would like to see you, Your Royal Highness. As such, I'm here to escort you.”
