Salute to the General novel Chapter 2536

When Lukin came out of his room, he hurried over toward Nathan and reached out his hand. “Sir, you're truly incredible! Heck, you're the best commander I've ever met. You have my utmost respect for you’re indeed a legendary tactician and strategist.”

Nathan smiled and shook his hand. “Sir, you're quite impressive yourself. There were instances where I almost succumbed to your attacks as well. I was just lucky to have emerged victorious.”

Lukin merely smiled in response because he knew Eurasia's Chief Military Governor was just being humble. The troops' defense under his command was extremely strong. There was no way I could've posed any danger.

In the hall, Gammon, along with Remdik's commanders-in-chief and generals, began giving them a round of applause.

After that, no one else would dare to question Nathan's capabilities in commanding skills.

Gammon then approached Nathan and smiled. “Sir, you were brilliant, and that was indeed an impressive performance!”

Nathan smiled back at him. “You're flattering me, Mr. Gammon. Luck was on my side.”

Suddenly, a discordant noise flashed through their ears after Nathan said that. “Ha! There’s a huge difference between simulation and a real-life war! Indeed, you were impressive in the simulation. However, things aren't the same in real-life battles. I believe your nation has this famous phrase saying that 'theory is unlike practical situations'!”

Nathan frowned when he saw the man saying those words. Isn't that the man who disrespected me yesterday? He's Dante, the Watchdog that was chased out from the welcoming party.

Gammon was displeased when he heard that. “Dante, you're acting out of line again.”

Since Dante knew he was Gammon's favorite pupil, he knew Gammon wouldn't punish him for such a puny matter.

Hence, he acted proudly and boasted, “President Gammon, what I'm trying to say is that the simulation isn't enough to prove the capabilities of Eurasia's Chief Military Governor. If he's truly that good, perhaps we should proceed to the second stage of this friendly competition. You should let me and the other fighters challenge him in the boxing ring.”
