A few days later in Channing, Eurasia.
Sofie had spent her first week at school, and she had the weekend off.
Driving a regular car, she went over to Nathan's place.
Nathan and his family were delighted to see Sofie coming home that weekend. Everyone asked her how her first week went.
With a bright smile, Sofie replied, “It was pretty good. The students were very amiable, and there was always someone around offering me help.
Some students were overly enthusiastic and friendly, though.”
Nathan had been paying attention to Sofie's well-being at school all this while.
When he heard Sofie talking about someone being overly enthusiastic, he asked, “Is someone bothering you? Should I send my men over to deal with the problem?”
The truth was that there was a rich brat named Bradley Turner who had been infatuated ever since he met Sofie. He kept pestering Sofia and was as annoying as a housefly.
Despite her irritation, Sofie thought that it was not right to use her authority to deal with that minor inconvenience since she was attending the school as a regular citizen.
That was why she grinned and replied, “It's not that bad. Don't worry, Mr. Cross. I can deal with the issue on my own.”
Nathan smiled. “Okay, but you must tell me if you're in trouble.”
Sofie nodded and answered with a bright smile. “Got it.”
Right then, Leah emerged from the kitchen and announced, “Dinner is ready.”
Nathan and the others went to the dining table and took their seats to eat together.
During the meal, Nathan asked Sofie what her plans for the weekends were.
