Salute to the General novel Chapter 2677

At the Holmes residence, Erwin sat limply in his chair while his two sons were doing no better, looking as if it was the end of the world. There was fear on their faces and hopelessness in their eyes.

Outside their home, a nanny was rushing past with both hands cradling her tummy.

When she passed the door, she tripped and stumbled. Immediately, several jade bracelets and a bag of gold necklaces and rings fell out of her clothes onto the ground.

The bracelets shattered, while the gold necklaces, rings, and other gold accessories scattered all over the floor.

Apparently, the servants in the family knew that the Holmes family was going to fall, and everyone took the opportunity to grab anything valuable and run away.

Erwin knew that the entire residence was in an uproar.

Nonetheless, it was upsetting for him to see a nanny stealing valuables from his home.

Witnessing this scene, Carrey and Hamish were particularly angry.

Furious, Carrey brought out a gun, yelling, “Bit*h, our family is in trouble, but we are still alive. How dare you just take our belongings as if we are all already dead!”

As he spoke, he raised his gun and pointed it at the nanny.

Zelda, the nanny, screamed in fright and kneeled on the floor, pleading for her life. “Mr. Carrey, Mr. Erwin, please spare my life! I just saw everyone taking valuables and running away. They say that it's over for the Holmes family, so I got carried away and did the same! Mr. Carrey, I beg you. For the sake of my many years of service to your family, please spare my life!”

Carrey retorted, “Why should I spare you? You disloyal servant! Go to hell!"

With that, he raised his gun and fired at her.

Zelda was killed on the spot.

The moment Zelda's body collapsed in her own pool of blood, a young girl rushed over, screaming. She cradled Zelda in her arms and cried broken-heartedly.

This young girl was none other than Zelda's daughter, Moon.

Moon was also a servant in the Holmes residence. She had never imagined that her mother would be shot to death just for looting like the others.

Even if Mother had committed a crime, it was not one deserving of death.

In a rage, she raised her voice. “You people are heartless! I will fight you till death!”

With that, she leaped at them in desperation.

Carrey was caught off guard, and she managed to scratch his face before he realized what was happening. As they struggled together, he was not able to fire his gun due to their proximity.

Bang!

Another shot rang out!
