Salute to the General novel Chapter 2691

Meanwhile, in a luxurious mansion in Maple Haven, a private doctor and his assistant came down from upstairs. Walking up to Nelson, he informed respectfully, “Mr. Freeman, your nephew will be fine. He will be able to fully recover after a few days of rest.”

Nelson nodded in acknowledgment.

Sensing Nelson's bad mood, Tamir Waddys, Nelson's subordinate, hurriedly waved at the doctor to dismiss him.

The doctor bowed at once. “Mr.

Freeman, if there's nothing else, I’ll be

on my way.”

At that moment, Nelson was still wallowing in his frustration and barely paid the doctor any attention. Upon hearing the doctor's words, he let out a grunt.

After the doctor swiftly left with his assistant, the opulently-decorated living room fell into an eerie silence.

As Nelson remained quiet, Tamir and the other subordinates stood at tense attention. They barely dared to breathe, for fear of getting on Nelson's nerves.

After a long while, Nelson's voice rang

out. “Tamir.”

Tamir came forward at once and acknowledged, “Yes, sir.”

Nelson instructed, “Call Admiral Max. I want to speak to him.”

“Right away!”

Very quickly, Tamir got through to Max and respectfully handed the phone to Nelson.
