Nathan turned around slowly and saw a burly, bearded man stepping out from the shadows.

The speaker was none other than Goliath.

He was accompanied by two companions, who were supporting an old, slightly balding hunter between them.

Nathan was surprised to recognize the hunter as Gammon.

His eyes widened in shock as he exclaimed, “Mr. Gammon!”

Gammon appeared disheveled and weak as he pleaded, “Mr. Cross, these men suddenly came out of nowhere and captured me. Please save me.”

Before Nathan could say a word, the sound of hurried footsteps in the nearby forest filled the air.

“Quick!”

“Hurry up!”

“Come on! Let's surround this place!”

Colin, the Elite Eight, and the Alpha had arrived.

The heavily equipped Alpha soldiers formed a circle and pointed their guns at Goliath and his men.

The savage soldiers probably would have fired their shots earlier if they were not worried about catching Gammon and Nathan in the crossfire.
