What do you mean?
Penny and Carlos were stunned.
They followed Nathan's gaze instinctively and stared out the window.
The power was still out even though the pelting rain had turned to a drizzle, thus leaving them in pitch darkness.
Right then, green lights dotted the area as if they were surrounded by green fireflies.
It soon became clear to them that those were glowing green eyes—the eyes of wolves!
Carlos' eyes widened in shock. “What are these?”
“There are so many green eyes around us. Those aren't wolves, are they?” Penny exclaimed.
“I'm afraid they aren't wolves, but werewolves,” Nathan said calmly.
Werewolves'.
Carlos and Penny were dumbfounded.
They looked out the window at their surroundings with fear written all over their faces. It would mean that they were surrounded by werewolves if all these eyes were theirs.
Colin, Ava, and the Elite Eight, too, noticed that something was amiss.
Ava grew solemn.
The Elite Eight knew they were up against a powerful enemy.
“We're in great danger. Everyone, put your guard up. Protect President Cross and the First Lady at all costs,” Colin cried out.
In a Cadillac SUV not too far away, Catherine, Morse, and their two bodyguards had also noticed something was amiss.
At that moment, Morse was staring out the window at the pairs of green eyes around him. “My gosh, what are these?”
Catherine, on the other hand, remained calm and collected. “I think those are werewolves.”
