Salute to the General novel Chapter 2840

Immense shock struck Herbert. It was then he realized the sudden appearance of that figure.

D*mn it'. Was there something wrong with my eyes just now? The road was empty earlier. How did someone appear out of nowhere?

Herbert was utterly perplexed. Yet, there was no time for him to consider that much in that dire situation, and all he could do was turn the steering wheel sharply.

The jeep swerved and successfully dodged the silhouette in the middle of the road. Consequently, it bolted off the road and crashed straight into a tree by the roadside.

Whoosh!

The jeep jolted violently before coming to a sudden halt.

Everyone in the car, including Ava, felt light-headed after the impact.

Standing in the middle of the road was none other than Antonio's righthand man, Kaiser.

Thankfully, Herbert had spun the steering wheel hastily and managed to avoid Kaiser in time.

However, the jeep behind could not dodge in time and whizzed straight toward Kaiser.

In the middle of the road, Kaiser slowly raised his head and laughed menacingly. “Right on time!”

Finishing his words, he lifted his right arm and threw a punch out.

Boom!

A thunderous rumble rang out as his punch collided with the jeep.

The vehicle's hood, as though hit by a cannonball, instantly shattered into pieces.

Without its hood, the jeep was sent flying backward before smashing onto the ground with a heavy thud.

Several warriors, who were severely injured and had blood all over their bodies, crawled out of the vehicle pathetically.

Nevertheless, just as they got out of the vehicle, the crisp sounds of high heels clicking against the floor sounded.

Curiosity and bewilderment filled the eyes of those warriors covered in blood as they stared at the pair of heels before them. Shifting their gazes upward, they saw a beautiful blonde lady with long wavy hair.

Though the lady was extraordinarily stunning and sexy, her face was frighteningly pale, and her eyes were sparkling with a mysterious glint.

It was Gianna.
