Salute to the General novel Chapter 2855

The next morning, when Nathan and Penny had just freshened up after rising from bed, Colin rushed into the room and reported, “Mr. Cross, Byron, Max, and Mueller are here.”

Nathan was shocked. “Bryon too?”

“Yes, sir.”

The pair exited their room and saw a group of Ariarican politicians with Bryon in the lead.

A bright smile appeared on Bryon's face the second he saw Nathan. The man approached Nathan enthusiastically and shook hands with the latter as he smiled. “Mr. Cross, I'm terribly sorry I couldn't keep you company during your trip to Newcove yesterday. I had to deal with some urgent matters. I couldn't even sleep well yesterday as I felt bad for not being hospitable enough. You're my honored guest, and I should've personally received you. That's why I flew all the way here early in the morning. I also brought with me some skillful chefs so they could make some scrumptious breakfast for us. Let's enjoy breakfast together!”

“Thank you, Mr. Bryon. You're very thoughtful.” Nathan smiled back at him.

Bryon laughed before turning to order the chefs, who were standing beside him, ”What are you all waiting for? Hurry up and get breakfast ready for us.”

“Yes, sir!” the chefs responded in unison.

As professional chefs, cooking breakfast was a piece of cake for them.

In no time, they presented a spread of delicious breakfast on the dining table.

Nathan, Penny, Bryon, and the others sat around the table and chatted while enjoying breakfast.

Bryon asked Nathan what were his plans for the day.

“I heard that Newcove is one of the most lively cities in the world, so I plan to take my wife around to enjoy the sceneries.” Nathan smiled.

Bryon grinned. “I see. No problem. Let me be your tour guide since I'm free today. How about this? After breakfast, we could go to the jockey club to check out some of the finest racehorses in the world. You could also try riding them if you want. In the afternoon, we could visit the harbor. What do you think?”
