After leaving Newcove, Nathan and the rest drove toward Bellridge.

The White House had sent a commercial cruise ship to pick up Nathan and the group at the harbor of Bellridge in secret.

On their way to Bellridge, Nathan sat with his eyes closed. His body swayed as the car maneuvered on the treacherous path.

As a man who frequented battlefields, he had developed the habit of taking time for a rest whenever he had the opportunity to do so. This was to maintain his best physical prowess and be ready to engage in battle at any moment.

Colin was focused on driving, while Kraven displayed his usual quiet and restrained nature.

Kerry, on the other hand, was a stark contrast to the others in the group. After getting more familiar with Nathan, she seemed to have lost control over her ability to tame her cheerful and lively personality.

Along the way, she kept trying to start a conversation with Nathan and the others. But after umpteen failed tries, she decided to switch her target to Sevan.

She was like a carefree sparrow, chattering to Sevan nonstop throughout the ride.

It was her means of relieving her boredom, but at the same time, she was also trying to get a deeper understanding of Sevan.

If I can discover some clues about Master from Sevan, that'll be great.

Unfortunately, Sevan's sight and speech were severely impacted, possibly because of being imprisoned in a dark cell for too long.
