Salute to the General novel Chapter 2920

He lashed out at Nathan with more than a dozen punches in a row, all of which failed to connect.

After he had avoided Niels' flurry of attacks, Nathan finally decided to fight back. Thrusting a foot out quick as lightning, he drove a kick straight into Niels' chest.

Bam!

As though he had been struck by a bolt of lightning, Niels was sent hurtling more than a dozen meters out by that devastating strike. He crashed through glass, wood, and steel, laying waste to a row of tables inside the bar.

While that was happening, Colin had already wrapped up the skirmish on his end by dispatching off both of the vampire fighters he was fighting.

When the other two vampire fighters who were ganging up on Kraven caught a glimpse of Niels being punted out by Nathan, it affected their emotional state just enough to bring about a brief loss of concentration.

Within that split second that the pair were distracted, Kraven's sword tore through the air like the grim reaper's scythe and simultaneously lopped both the vampires' heads clean off.

Though Colin's and Kraven's parts in their own fights were over, the showdown between Nathan and Niels had only just begun.

Shortly after being flung away by Nathan's kick, the vampire immediately bounced back up onto his feet. Gone was his previously dashing and elegant visage as his body and looks underwent a drastic transformation.

Seemingly aging by several centuries in an instant, his skin became as dry as a husk as he morphed into a rawboned elder.

His nails and fangs, however, remained long and sharp as blades, and behind his back sprung a pair of skeletal wings in a shade of crimson.

His almost demonic appearance struck the observers as quite horrifying indeed.

Eyes as wide as dinner plates, Kraven could not help but gasp. “Well, f*ck me! This thing has to be even older than I am, surely?”

To the side, Colin chimed in, “While you're only a few decades old, he could very well have been around for hundreds or even thousands of years, so it doesn't even warrant comparison.”

The trembling Kerry, Haskell, and Erin were cowering at the back, not daring to even breathe too loudly for fear of drawing the terrifying vampire earl's attention.

At that moment, a frown involuntarily formed between Nathan's brows as he looked upon that freakish-looking monstrosity.

Clicking his tongue, he said, “The world is never short of curiosities, but I'd say this right here is definitely a real eye-opener.”
