Salute to the General novel Chapter 2930

Suddenly, the atmosphere became extremely tense, and it was as though a battle was about to start.

Frightened, Leighton quickly stepped forward and tried to ease the tension in the air. “Calm down, everyone! Calm down.”

Right after that, he glanced at Nathan fearfully and stammered, “M-Mr. Cross, President Krasner didn't mean to talk about your wife that day. He's just a big fan of the Eurasian culture. He heard that the dress your wife had worn is an important part of the Eurasian culture. Hence, he just wanted to learn more about it. He didn't mean to offend you, Mr. Cross. Please don't misunderstand him.”

Jaymes furrowed his brows when he heard that. Although he was an impulsive man, he wasn't stupid. He knew that Leighton was there to defuse the situation.

However, he wasn't happy with how Leighton had acted on his own.

Jaymes snorted and said, “That's right. That's all I meant to say. I'm interested in Eurasian culture, so I want a dress from Eurasia. But I want the one your wife wore because I like that one. It's just a simple request, no?”

Colin glared at him, and he was ready to attack.

Right then, Nathan finally spoke up expressionlessly.

He stood up and walked toward a soldier of the Dragon Warriors next to Colin. In a flat tone, he said, “The Eurasian culture is incredible, so I can understand why you guys are so interested in it. Yet, I think you've misunderstood something. Dresses don't represent Eurasian culture. If you're really interested in learning our culture, I can give you something that'll help you.”

Jaymes was stumped. “Those dresses don't? What are you going to give me, then?”

Nathan arrived in front of a soldier, and he reached out to grab the soldier's sword.

This sword was a unique sword for Eurasian soldiers. It was designed like an ancient sword, and it looked simple and elegant. Not only did those swords look great, but they were also very sharp.
