Nathan even gave Zach a call after the meeting was over.
The two of them discussed the plan to send their soldiers disguised as fishermen over to Daragon Island.
“Zach, I know this doesn't seem like a big issue, but it can have a huge impact on the country. You must handle this properly so the enemy doesn't get away with it,” Nathan said.
“Don't worry; I'll get it done. If they want to send in soldiers disguised as fishermen, we'll do the same. Two can play that game. This will make a great training exercise for our soldiers!” Zach replied.
“You're right! We still need to be mindful of how we retaliate, though. This could have a huge impact on our country's reputation globally. We mustn't mobilize our troops until they mobilize theirs. Wouldn't want the world thinking our soldiers are bullying their defenseless fishermen!” Nathan reminded him.
“You may rest assured that our men will play by the rules, President Cross! We'll stop the enemy from planting their flag on Daragon Island, but we'll do so in a way that won't affect our reputation,” Zach promised.
“Good. Make sure to choose the men for this task wisely. Send only the best of our elites after them. That ought to teach them a lesson!”
“Of course, Sir. In fact, I already have a perfect candidate to lead this operation!”
“Oh? Who would that be? Do I know that person?” Nathan asked curiously.
“He's the King of Warriors from this year's new generation of soldiers. Not only is he highly capable, but he has also served in the North Army before being transferred over to the Southern Fleet. His name is Bronson Lionheart,” Zach replied with a smile.
