With his faith shattered, Kraven fell into utter despair when he discovered that his master turned out to be the Allfather of Heavenly City.
A wry smile spread across his face as he said, “If I knew you were someone like this, I would rather be a vagabond all my life than become your slave. You are right. I owe everything that I have now to you. You made me the man that I am today. But you were also the one who destroyed me. I no longer want to be your servant or a top combatant anymore. I'll pay back everything that you have given me.”
“Pay me back? How do you plan on doing that? I might consider letting you live if you agree to stay by my side and continue to be my servant,” Lothar said coldly.
Kraven shook his head. “You don't need to spare my life. I, Kraven Macalister, am only willing to be a hero's follower. Not a traitor's lackey.”
With that, he raised his left hand and grabbed his right arm. Then, he exerted a sudden force.
Crack!
Kraven tore off his right arm abruptly, and blood gushed out from his arm instantly.
The crowd that witnessed the scene was shocked.
The elites at the scene were all ruthless, so it was common for them to snap another person's head off.
However, this was the first time they saw someone being so cruel to himself. As such, they couldn't help but be astounded.
Enduring the pain, Kraven tossed his right arm in front of Lothar. He yelled, “You made me who I am today, so I'm paying you back with this arm of mine. Is that enough?”
Lothar stood still and remained silent.
Seeing that, Kraven cut off his right foot with his left arm.
Crack!
With that, the calf of his right leg was severed forcefully.
Kraven fell to the ground with a thud. He burst into tears as he spoke. “I gave you my foot too. Is it enough to pay you back?”
However, Lothar remained indifferent and did not say a word.
With no choice, Kraven raised his left arm and poked both of his eyes all of a sudden.
Pfft!
His eyes were blurred with blood as he was instantly rendered blind.
Lothar rolled on the ground in pain. Then, he said miserably, “I don't want to see you again. I'm giving these eyes to you. You were like a father to me. Now, I'm giving you half of my body. I've paid you back. You will no longer be my master.”
“Must you do this?” At last, Lothar spoke.
Kraven was left without his right arm, right calf, and eyesight. Covered in blood, he looked like an incapacitated person.
As he lay lifelessly on the ground, like a heartbroken and wounded child, Kraven wanted nothing more than to go home.
At that moment, all he could see was darkness, and he could only think of Nathan and Kerry.
These two people had given him warmth and love of a family.
Right now, the only thing on Kraven's mind was to return to his country so that he could reunite with his two friends again and pour out all his grievances to them.
With only his left hand, he groped around the ground for a while, roughly identifying the direction. Then, he headed eastward and crawled forward with difficulty.
