Agastya and Varuna were stunned as astonished expressions marred their faces.
Right then, Nathan made his move.
His body disappeared into thin air all of a sudden.
Agastya felt momentarily dazed as his vision turned blurry. A split second later, Nathan had unbelievably shown up right in front of him.
Taken aback, he let out a shriek and swung the sword in his hand at Nathan.
Nathan lifted and waved his hand, sending Agastya's sword flying.
Clap!
While Nathan slapped Agastya's weapon away, he took a step forward and forcefully elbowed the latter's chest.
Bang!
A thud rang out.
Agastya's torso shook violently, similar to how the ground would tremble after being hit by a missile. Immediately afterward, his entire chest caved in, and he coughed out a mouthful of blood.
His body curled like cooked shrimp and was thrown backward.
By the time he landed on the floor, he was no more than a corpse.
“No!” Varuna bellowed at the sight of his companion's tragic death.
Without a second thought, he rushed toward Nathan while wielding a sword.
Nathan grabbed Varuna's sword with his bare hand and applied pressure on the blade with his fingers.
Crack!
He broke Varuna's sharp sword like it was made of cotton.
Then, Nathan raised his hand and struck Varuna's forehead with his palm.
Bang!
Varuna's head was crushed, and he died on the spot without having the time to let out a yelp.
Following that, an eerie silence lingered in the atmosphere at the scene.
The few Heavenly City Deans and many guards held their breaths and didn't even dare to make the slightest noise because of the overwhelming fear and anxiety crippling their senses.
At that instant, they could even hear their own palpitating hearts.
Nathan had murdered the Light and Dark Messengers as if they were mere stray animals. He acted as though that was just an insignificant feat.
