Salute to the General novel Chapter 3014

Austeru rolled down his sleeve, then turned to Nathan. “I don't like killing people. If the four of you agree to give up on resisting and submit to me, I can try to plead with Allfather for him to spare your lives.”

“I don't like killing people either. If you're willing to change your ways and follow me as a servant, I can spare your life,” Nathan responded apathetically.

Austeru had just advised Sadhu not to get angry, yet the former could not hold back his rage at that moment. A burst of murderous intent erupted from him and engulfed the entire area.

Looking grim, he uttered, “Based on those words alone, you've sealed your fate.”

Just then, an elderly man dressed all in white with long, white hair that draped over his shoulders suddenly walked toward them unhurriedly.

“Austeru, the earth abounds with mercy, so why must you kill for no reason?” said the white-haired man loudly and clearly.

When everyone saw the elderly man with white hair, they could not help bowing again in a silent greeting.

As it turned out, he was also one of Heavenly City's Five Heavenly Guardians. His name was Merlin, also known as the Earthfather.

After Merlin uttered those words, someone piped up immediately, “That's right. These intruders are all quite powerful, especially the lad with the dragon mask. He's frighteningly strong, and killing him would be a pity. We should capture him so our laboratories can carefully dissect him for research and extract all his knowledge about the lost arts. And if we can replicate his superior genes and use them in cultivating a new group of warriors, all the better!”

Upon hearing that, everyone turned around and saw a middle-aged man striding forward in his boots. He had a ranger hat on his head and a ranger sword at his hip.

Somebody exclaimed, “Aragon the Wanderer is also here!”

Aragon was also one of the Five Heavenly Guardians in Heavenly City.

Another person chimed in after him, saying, “If we're going to capture those people, allow me.”

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The deep rumble of heavy footsteps rang out, and the ground shook with every step.

Then, a warrior clad all in gold strode out. He was slightly over two meters tall, wore a suit of golden cavalry armor, and wielded a great sword.

He was Lucian, another member of Heavenly City's Five Heavenly Guardians and also known as the Golden Knight.
